Autism

I photographed this feature on autism back in the spring for St. Louis Magazine. The two subjects were Mia and Tanner. Both kids have a form of autism. While at first it seemed a difficult subject to convey visually without appearing cliche', I felt that in the end I was able to provide an in-depth look into their lives. I am thankful to both kids and their families for opening their homes to me with hopes of helping people better understand this disease.
